In the field of screen printing, the great diversity of inks means that a great diversity of cleaning solvents is necessary.
This problem is more emphasised in the case of screen printing companies, which print using a wide variety of media.
The most conventional cleaning solvents are mixtures of additives of benzene hydrocarbons (CMR – carcinogenic / mutagenic / reprotoxic) with glycol and cyclohexanone ethers, aromatic solvents (such as toluene or xylene), ketones (such as acetone, methylethylketone or methylisobutylketone), or ethyl acetate or methylene chloride.
All these solvents, whether in pure form or mixed, are extremely dangerous, for their toxic qualities and at an environmental level, but also for their fire risk.
While ink manufacturers are increasingly developing high-performance water-based products, operators traditionally remain with dangerous cleaning solvents given the low usage versatility of these same solvents on resins of different chemical families (matrixes).
The SERIMAX offered by Ibiotec are enough to resolve all of these problems.
Thee is no danger pictogramme (CLP 1272/2008 – revised form 1079/2016 on toxicity) that will be seen by operators.
Optimised flash point report / evaporation speed for SERIMAX FAST 35, for a fast and efficient machine intervention period.
